Daniela Fernandez is the founder and CEO of the Sustainable Ocean Alliance (SOA), a global network empowering young innovators to create scalable solutions for ocean health and climate resilience.
Our oceans absorb over 90% of global heat caused by climate change, yet marine ecosystems remain chronically underfunded and overlooked. The lack of innovation capital for ocean tech has stalled meaningful progress.
Through SOA, Daniela has mobilised an intergenerational ecosystem of entrepreneurs, investors, and scientists to accelerate ocean regeneration. Her network has supported over 300 startups across 70+ countries, restoring marine habitats and advancing blue economy innovation.
Her leadership mirrors nature’s design: decentralised, adaptive, and interdependent.
As global warming escalates, oceanic resilience determines planetary survival. Daniela’s work proves that regenerative entrepreneurship can be both profitable and planetary.
The New Earth Vision
Her vision is a thriving “blue economy” where innovation is guided by ecological intelligence, where restoring nature becomes the most valuable business model on Earth.
Daniela Fernandez represents the new generation of regenerative builders, leaders who weave technology and ecology into living systems of renewal. This is the kind of leader we want to be in Circle with.
